Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026.
This policy explains what data marionetes.com.br collects, why, with whom it is shared and how you can exercise your rights. It applies to every page on the domain, in all three language versions.
1. Who is responsible
The site is run by a private individual, the author and party responsible for its content and for data processing (controller, in the terms of the Brazilian LGPD and the GDPR). Contact for any privacy matter: contato@marionetes.com.br.
2. What data is collected
- Data you provide: name, email, subject and message, when you use the contact form.
- Technical browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and traffic source, collected through cookies and similar technologies — and only to the extent you authorise in the consent banner.
- Preferences: your language choice and your cookie decision, stored in your own browser (localStorage) and not sent to us.
We do not request or knowingly process sensitive data (health, religion, political opinion, biometrics) or children's data. The site is not directed at children under 13.
3. Purposes and legal bases (LGPD / GDPR)
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Contact form | Replying to your message | Consent and, where applicable, pre-contractual steps (art. 7, I and V, LGPD; art. 6(1)(a)/(b), GDPR) |
| Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) | Understanding which content is useful and improving the site | Consent (art. 7, I, LGPD; art. 6(1)(a), GDPR) |
| Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) | Serving ads and, if allowed, personalised ads | Consent (art. 7, I, LGPD; art. 6(1)(a), GDPR) |
| Preferences stored in the browser | Remembering language and cookie choice | Legitimate interest / delivering the requested functionality |
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. This site uses three categories:
- Essential: needed to display the site and store your privacy decision. No consent required.
- Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4), with IP anonymisation, to measure audience in aggregate.
- Advertising: Google AdSense and Google partners, to serve and measure ads.
No analytics or advertising script loads before your consent. The site implements Google Consent Mode v2 with all signals set to denied by default; they only move to granted according to your choice in the banner. You can review or withdraw your decision at any time by clicking in the footer of any page, or by clearing the site's data in your browser.
5. Google AdSense and advertising
This site serves advertising through Google AdSense. If you allow advertising cookies:
- Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or disable third-party cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
- The site does not depend on personalised ads: refusing does not block any content.
Information on how Google handles data from partner sites is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the processors necessary to run the site: Google (AdSense and Analytics), Formspree (contact form processing) and the hosting provider. These services may process data outside Brazil and the European Economic Area; in such cases transfers take place under those providers' contractual mechanisms, including standard data protection clauses.
7. Retention
Form messages are kept for as long as they are useful for replying and documenting the exchange, and are deleted on request. Analytics data follows the retention periods configured in Google Analytics. Preferences stored in your browser remain until you clear them.
8. Your rights
Under the LGPD (Law 13.709/2018) you may request: confirmation that processing exists; access to your data; correction of incomplete or outdated data; anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or non-compliant data; portability; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent. Under the GDPR, the rights to object, to restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority also apply.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contato@marionetes.com.br. We reply within 15 days and may ask for additional information solely to verify your identity. In Brazil you may also complain to the ANPD (National Data Protection Authority).
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and stores no personal data on its own server: form messages go directly to the processing service. Even so, no system is entirely immune — please avoid sending sensitive information through the form.
10. External links
Pages may contain links to third-party sites (bookshops, museums, video platforms, advertisements). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
11. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be published on this page with a new update date. If a change broadens the purposes of processing, your consent will be requested again.
